SAINT PETER, MINN. – The Gustavus Adolphus baseball team partnered with the St. Peter Youth Baseball Association to hold its first annual St. Peter Youth Baseball Clinic on Saturday, May 16 at the Gustie Baseball Field. Over 50 baseball players grades 2-6 took part in three different sessions that were held throughout the morning and afternoon.
Gutsie baseball players and coaches were on hand to teach basic fielding, throwing, and hitting mechanics all while focusing on having fun. An emphasis on proper mechanics to increase velocity and maintain arm health was also stressed. Each session concluded with a scrimmage whiffle ball game.
