Men’s Tennis Picks Up MIAC Wins Over Saint Mary’s 9-0 And Macalester 8-1

St. Peter, Minn. – After a brief absence from competition on Minnesota soil, the Gustavus Adolphus men’s tennis team snapped a three-match losing-skid with a pair of home victories at the Brown Outdoor Courts on Saturday. The Gusties kicked off the day with a 9-0 sweep of Saint Mary’s University and then capped the afternoon with an 8-1 win over Macalester College.

With the wins, Gustavus improves to 13-8 overall and 6-0 in the MIAC. The Gusties will be busy next weekend with a Friday match against DePauw University at 7:00 p.m. in Jackson, Wisconsin, and Saturday matches against the University of Chicago at 10:30 a.m. in Elkhorn, Wisconsin and St. Cloud State at 12:00 p.m. in St. Peter.
