St. Peter, Minn. – Battling through jammed fingers, treacherous stairs, stubbed toes, and narrow hallways, the familiar sights of jersey-clad Gustavus Adolphus football players carrying everything from futons to TVs, fridges to mirrors, lamps to clothes and everything in-between could be seen at numerous locations throughout camps on Friday morning. With approximately 650 first-year students arriving on campus today, the job of the football team is to make the transition as smooth as possible. Football players stationed at Norelius, Pittman, and Sohre Halls lend a helping hand to those incoming first-year students and their families throughout the morning and early afternoon.
