On Saturday, Jan. 18th, the men will compete in a 15K freestyle race, while the women will compete in a freestyle 10K. Sunday’s races are a 10K classic race for the men and a 5k classic race for the women. Races will begin on both days at 9:00 a.m.

The women’s team is coming into this weekend’s competition on a high note, after winning the Minnesota College Championships held at the Graystone Trails last weekend. Gustavus’ top trio, Marit Sonnesyn (So., Plymouth, Minn.), Mata Agre (So., Corcoran, Minn.), and Marian Lund (Sr., Duluth, Minn.) took home the gold after finishing their relay in 50:16.3.

Gabe Hanson (Sr., Stillwater, Minn.), Tyler Gustafson (Jr., Grand Rapids, Minn.), and Scott Williams (Jr., Maple Grove, Minn.) all had strong performances for the Gusties last weekend, helping lead the men’s team to a fifth place finish at the Minnesota College Championships. The men’s team will look for continued success from Hanson, Gustafson, and Williams at this weekend’s meet.

Results from the NCAA Qualifier meet will be posted on the Gustavus Athletics website shortly following the races.
