St. Peter, Minn. – The Gustavus men’s basketball team will head back into Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (MIAC) play on Saturday, Jan. 4th when it travels to Northfield, Minn., for a showdown with rival St. Olaf College. The Gusties will look to bounce back from a 73-58 loss at the hands of UW-La Crosse on Tuesday, Dec. 31st. The Oles look to start the new year on the right foot after nearly a full month without a game. Gustavus enters the weekend with a record of 7-2 overall (4-0 MIAC), while St. Olaf comes in with a record of 5-3 overall (2-1 MIAC). Saturday’s opening tip is set for 3:00 p.m., following the women’s game.
