Scott Jerome Named MIAC Men’s and Women’s Nordic Ski Coach of Year

Scott Jerome has been named the MIAC Men’s and Women’s Nordic Ski Coach of the Year. This is the third time Jerome has been named the women’s coach of the year and the first time for the men.

Scott Jerome has been named the MIAC Men’s and Women’s Nordic Ski Coach of the Year. In his fourth season at Gustavus, Jerome directed the women to their third consecutive MIAC team title and the men to their first MIAC team title.

This is the third consecutive year that Jerome has been named the women’s coach of the year. The women claimed their third consecutive title by compiling 57 points at the conference championships at Graystone Trails in Saint Cloud, Minnesota. The women placed fourth at the NCAA Central Regional Championships in Houghton, Michigan.

This is the first time Jerome has been named the men’s coach of the year. The Gusties won their first MIAC team title totaling 64 team points at Graystone Trails in Saint Cloud, Minnesota. The men placed fourth at the NCAA Central Regional Championships in Houghton, Michigan.
