Women’s Tennis Gets Back On Track With Wins Over Hamline And St. Catherine

The Gustavus women’s tennis team snapped a three-game losing-streak with a pair of wins against league foes Hamline and St. Catherine on Saturday in St. Paul.  Gustavus cruised to a 9-0 victory over the Pipers before topping St. Catherine 8-1 later in the day.  The Gusties get back track and improve to 12-7 overall and 5-0 in the MIAC.

Megan Gaard, Mary Roop, and Sophie Horton all earned their tenth win of the season today.  Gaard (10-11) and Rooop (10-5) both picked up a pair of wins, while Horton (10-4) earned a win against Hamline.

Gustavus will be back on the court Wednesday, April 18 when it travels to St. Joseph, Minn. to take on Saint Benedict at 1:00 p.m.
