Men’s And Women’s Track & Field Teams Receive All-Academic Team Honors

Both the Gustavus Adolphus men’s and women’s indoor track and field teams have received All-Academic Team honors from the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA). The men’s team had a cumulative team GPA of 3.28, while the women’s squad had a team GPA of 3.47.

Both the Gustavus Adolphus men’s and women’s indoor track and field teams have received All-Academic Team honors from the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA).  The men’s squad joins a group of 110 schools from around the nation, eight of which are from the MIAC, in receiving  the USTFCCCA’s All-Academic Team award.  The women’s team joins a field of 153 schools from across the nation, as 10 women’s programs from the MIAC were honored.

The Gustavus men’s team had a cumulative team GPA of 3.28, while the women’s team had a team GPA of 3.47.  For a team to be considered for the USTFCCCA All-Academic Team award, they must have competed and compiled a team score at an NCAA Regional Meet. The team must also have a minimum 3.10 team cumulative grade point average.
