The Gustavus women’s tennis team posted a 1-1 record against the University of Nebraska-Omaha and a 2-0 record against Missouri Valley College on Saturday in the Swanson Tennis Center on the campus of Gustavus Adolphus College. The Gusties lost 6-3 to Nebraska-Omaha at 8:30 am, and then defeated the Mavericks 6-3 later that day at 1:00 pm. Against Missouri Valley, Gustavus won 8-1 at both 8:30 am and 12:30 pm. Sam Frank and Sierra Krebsbach went 2-0 in doubles on the day, as did Marianne Barau and Megan Gaard.
The Gustavus women’s tennis team will face Rockhurst University and Drake University on Sunday, Feb. 21. in Des Moines, Iowa. The Gusties will play Rockhurst at 9:00 am and Drake at 2:00 pm.
