Gusties Split with Hope and Washington & Jefferson on Day Three in Florida

The Gusties picked up a split on their third day of competition in Florida, defeating falling to Hope by a score of 3-2 before defeating Washington & Jefferson by an impressive 8-1 score. 

Gusties Dominate Eagles in Home Opener

Thanks to unplayable conditions at Reynolds Field field in St. Paul, the Gusties were treated to their home opener a week early — and they certainly made it count. Allowing only four hits and scoring nine runs on eight hits of their own, the Gusties sent the Eagles home with a 9-0 loss, improving to 4-8 on the season. 

Softball Comes Up Empty on Day Two of Florida Trip

The Gustavus softball team came up empty on the second game day of the team's Florida trip, falling to Luther 3-0 and Millikin 6-2. 

Baseball vs. Northwestern Moved to Friday in Saint Peter

The Gustavus baseball team’s non-conference game scheduled for 4 p.m. Friday at Northwestern-St. Paul has been moved to 2:30 p.m. Friday at the Gustie Baseball Field due to unplayable field conditions at Northwestern. Grandstand seating at the Gustie Baseball Field will be unavailable on Friday so fans are encouraged to bring their own chairs for watching the game. Parking in the grass lot behind field fence and across the road will not be open. Fans are encouraged to park in areas circled in image below. Live stats will not be available for the event, but it will be live streamed.

Four Swimmers Named CSCAA All-America

The College Swimming and Diving Coaches Association of America (CSCAA) released its All-America honors Tuesday and four Gustavus swimmers received recognition.

Softball Sweeps on First Day of Florida Spring Trip

Turns out all the Gusties needed was a little heat. For the first time all season, the Gustavus softball team posted two back-to-back wins on the first day of the Gusties' Florida spring trip. Gustavus defeated St. Lawrence 4-0 to start the day, followed by a 6-3 victory over Manchester University later in the afternoon.

Baseball Goes 1-2 at WashU

The Gustavus baseball team played three games at Washington University on Sunday and Monday, splitting the Sunday doubleheader 9-8, 2-6, and then falling 7-3 on Monday.

Women’s Hockey Wins Program’s First National Championship in Triple Overtime Thriller

Everything looks better in gold — including the Gustavus women's hockey team. A year after falling to Middlebury in the National Championship game, the Gusties got revenge on the east coast, winning the program's first ever national title in a triple overtime 2-1 thriller over Amherst.

Women’s Swimming Ends NCAA Championships with All-America Honorable Mention Accodlades

The Gustavus women's swimming team wrapped up its 2022-23 season Saturday at the NCAA Championships with a pair of All-America honorable mention performances. 

Women’s Tennis Wins a Pair on Saturday

The Gusties started the morning with an 8-1 win over Northwestern Iowa and then followed with a 9-0 sweep over Bethany Lutheran.
