No. 17 Gusties Post MIAC Sweep of St. Catherine

The Gustavus volleyball team entered into Wednesday’s MIAC match against St. Catherine on a seven-match winning streak and holding a 5-0 undefeated conference record. And the Gusties were able to defend both of those marks, as they made St. Catherine their latest victim, defeating the Wildcats by a score of 3-0.

Men’s Soccer Rallies in Final Seconds to Tie Augsburg 1-1

Playing with an extreme sense of urgency in the final minute Tuesday night at Augsburg, the Gustavus men's soccer team quickly moved the ball the length of the pitch and Owen Johnson scored the equalizer goal with just seven seconds left in regulation, resulting in a 1-1 tie.

On the heels of a five-set comeback victory over St. Olaf, the Gusties carried their momentum into Tuesday night’s non-conference matchup against Cornell, defeating the Rams in four sets for their seventh win in a row.

Men’s Tennis Sends Three to ITA Cup

The Gustavus men's tennis team wraps up its fall season this week at the ITA Cup as it sends three student-athletes to the national singles and doubles tournaments. Marco Siviero (So., Sao Miguel de Oeste, Brazil) will represent Gustavus in the singles draw, while Drew Elofson (Sr., Saint Peter) and Gage Gohl (Fy., Sioux Falls, S.D.) will compete in the doubles draw.

No. 10 Gustavus men's soccer Saturday cruised to a 6-1 win over Concordia, improving to 8-0-3 overall and 5-0-0 in the MIAC.

The Gustavus football team treated its Homecoming crowd to a decisive 77-7 win over St. Scholastica on Saturday at Hollingsworth Field, setting the program record for largest margin of victory.

The Gustavus women's soccer was in a streak-snapping mood Saturday afternoon. Kirsten Poppen (So., Verona) scored what would be the game-winning goal, lifting the Gusties to 3-0 win over Concordia — putting an end to a five-game losing streak and a four-game offensive dry spell.

Gusties Remain Undefeated in Conference Play, Take Down No. 15 Augsburg

The Gusties and the Auggies entered Friday night’s MIAC match-up as the only two teams still undefeated in conference play. Friday night’s match would put a blemish on one of those perfect records, as the two nationally ranked teams met for the first time this season in Minneapolis. Fortunately for the Gusties, it would be Augsburg’s streak that would come to an end, defeating the No. 15 Auggies in four sets.

Women’s Golf Finishes Sixth at MIAC Championships

The Gustavus women’s golf team took sixth place Monday at the MIAC Championships, played at Bunker Hills Golf Club.
