Hecht Named United Soccer Coaches Second Team All-America
KANSAS CITY, Mo. – United Soccer Coaches released its NCAA Division III All-America Teams on Thursday and Gustavus men’s soccer center back Jared Hecht (So.., Apple Valley) is recognized as a Second Team member.
Men’s Basketball Slips Late In 64-68 Loss To Carleton
NORTHFIELD, Minn. - The Gustavus men's basketball team traveled to Carleton on Wednesday night and were defeated 68-64. With the loss, Gustavus dips to 3-4 and 1-2 in the MIAC. Kaleb Feahn (Sr., Waseca) led the team with 24 points while Spencer Swanson (Fy., Waconia) recorded eight rebounds.
Women’s Hoops Dominant in First Half, Defeats Carleton 76-50
The Gustavus women's basketball team shot a perfect 9-for-9 in the first quarter Wednesday, setting the tone for a decisive 76-50 win over Carleton. The Gusties improve to 4-1 overall and 3-0 in the MIAC, while the Knights drop to 2-2 overall and 1-1 in the league.
