The Gustavus women's hockey team suffered their first conference loss Saturday, falling to Hamline 5-3. The Gusties are now 13-3-2 overall and 9-1-2 in the league, while the Pipers improved to 14-3-2 overall and 10-1-1 in the MIAC.

Men’s Hoops Suffers 106-67 Loss to No. 7 St. Thomas

The Gustavus men’s basketball team suffered a 106-67 loss to No. 7 St. Thomas on Saturday afternoon. The Gusties fall to 8-12 overall and 8-7 in the MIAC, while the Tommies improve to 17-2 overall and 13-1 in the league.

Men’s Basketball Hosts No. 7 St. Thomas Saturday

The Gustavus men’s basketball team returns to Gus Young Court Saturday afternoon for a 1 p.m. tipoff against St. Thomas. The Gusties enter the contest 8-11 overall and 8-6 in the MIAC, while the Tommies are 16-2 overall and 12-1 in the league.

No. 23 Women’s Basketball Hosts No. 17 St. Thomas Saturday

The No. 23 Gustavus women's basketball team will play host to No. 17 St. Thomas on Saturday for a 3 p.m. contest. Both teams enter the contest 14-4 overall and 10-3 in the MIAC.

Gymnastics Competes at Gershon Invitational

The Gustavus gymnastics team competed at the Gershon Invitational hosted by UW-La Crosse Friday night and took second of three teams. The Gusties scored 176.600, while La Crosse won the event with a 185.800.

Men’s Hockey Routs Hamline

The Gustavus men’s hockey team posted a convincing 7-1 win over Hamline on Friday in the opening matchup of the weekend series. The Gusties are now 9-6-3 overall and 5-2-2 in the MIAC while the Pipers drops to 3-13-4 and 1-7-3 in the conference.

Late Goal Helps Women’s Hockey Tie No. 9 Hamline

A goal in the last 27 seconds of play helped the No. 5 Gustavus women's hockey team stay unbeaten in conference play and tie Hamline 2-2 Friday. The Gusties are now 13-2-2 overall and 9-0-2 in the MIAC, while the Pipers are 13-3-2 overall and 9-1-1 in the league.

Men’s Hockey Slated for Hamline Series

After a win and tie against St. Thomas last weekend, Gustavus men’s hockey is set to take on Hamline in a home and home series. Friday’s game in Saint Peter begins at 7:05 p.m., while Saturday’s game in St. Paul starts at 7 p.m. The Gusties enter the series 8-6-3 overall and 4-2-2 in the MIAC while the Pipers are 3-12-4 and 1-6-3 in the conference. 

Women’s Hockey Faces Hamline in Top-10 Series

No. 5 Gustavus women’s hockey is set for a top-10 matchup against No. 9 Hamline this weekend. The Gusties enter the home-home series 13-2-1 overall and 9-0-1 in the MIAC, while the Pipers are 13-3-1 overall and 9-1-0 in the league. Friday’s game in Saint Paul begins at 7 p.m. and Saturday’s game at Don Roberts Ice Rink is at 2 p.m.

Track and Field Heads to MSU-Mankato Friday

The Gustavus men's and women's track and field teams are set to compete at the Mark Schuck Open at MSU-Mankato Friday. The meet will run Friday afternoon and throughout the day on Saturday.
