Men’s Golf Wins Twin Cities Classic

The No. 25-ranked Gustavus men’s golf team Monday finished strong at the Twin Cities Classic, holding on to first place for a victory in a field of 19 teams. The Gusties shot consistent each day for a total of 294-291-292-877 (+9), 18 strokes ahead of second place St. Thomas.

Women’s Golf Takes Sixth at MIAC Championships

The Gustavus women’s golf team took sixth place Monday at the MIAC Championships. The Gusties finished the 54-hole tournament with their best round at 328 and a total of 995. Bethel shot 308 on the final day to take the lead and the championship with a three-round total of 941.

Raut Finishes Runner Up at ITA Regional Singles Championship

Indraneel Raut finished runner up at the ITA Midwest Regional Singles Championship on Monday, losing 6-2, 6-1 to top-ranked Leo Vithoontien of Carleton.

11 Gusties Earn American Hockey Coaches Association All American Scholar Status

The American Hockey Coaches Association (ACHA) recognized ice hockey players who attained a 3.6 GPA each semester and participated in 40 percent of their school’s games in the 2018-19 season as “Krampade All American Scholars.”

The Gustavus women’s golf team remains in sixth place after completing the second round Sunday at the MIAC Championships. The Gusties shot a 335 Sunday and have a two-round total of 667. St. Catherine is still in first place at 628.

O’Neil/Fouchier Win ITA Regional Doubles Title, Raut Makes Singles Championship Match

Michael O’Neil and Daniel Fouchier fought back from a first set loss Sunday to win the ITA Midwest Regional Doubles Championship at the Swanson Tennis Center. The third-seeded Gustie duo beat fifth-seeded Cole Schneider and Nyathi Motlojoa of Luther 3-6, 6-3, 10-2 for the championship and recognition as All-Americans.

Football Drops Late Game Shootout to Bethel 35-33

In a fourth quarter that would see 40 points scored, it would be the two-point margin that Bethel held in the quarter that would prove to be the difference in the Gustavus football team 35-33 loss to the Royals. With the loss, the Gusties fall to 2-2 overall and 0-2 in the MIAC while Bethel improves to 3-0 and 1-0 in the conference.

Men’s Golf in Second at Twin Cities Classic, Pedersen Tied for Lead

The No. 25-ranked Gustavus men’s golf team is in second place and one stroke off the lead after one round at the Twin Cities Classic. The Gusties posted a 294 (+6) Saturday at The Links at Northfork, one behind UW-Eau Claire.
