Women’s Tennis Sweeps Macalester 9-0

The Gustavus women’s tennis team played its first conference match in over a month and came out with a 9-0 victory over Macalester. With the win the Gusties improve to 14-11 on the season and 4-0 in the MIAC.

SAINT PETER, Minn. – The Gustavus women’s tennis team played its first conference match in over a month and came out with a 9-0 victory over Macalester. With the win the Gusties improve to 14-11 on the season and 4-0 in the MIAC.

On the match, Head Coach Jon Carlson said, “It was a great match tonight. Macalester has a lot of talent so I was proud of how the girls stepped up and competed. With four conference matches in the next three days this is a big weekend for us, and this was a good way to start it off.”
