Madison, Wis. – The Gustavus women’s tennis team capped off the Midwest Invite with a 5-4 win over DePauw on Saturday. With the win the Gusties move to 13-11 on the year.
On the weekend Head Coach Jon Carlson said “It doesn’t get more intense than three matches that end 5-4. I think we got better and better every match both mentally and from a technical standpoint as we hit the ball better and played the smart points when we needed too. It was good that we had a lot of tough competition this weekend as we head into the our tough conference matches.”
