Softball Set to Begin Season in Rochester Saturday
The Gustavus softball team will begin their 2019 campaign this weekend when they head to Rochester for a pair of games on Saturday and Sunday at the Rochester Regional Bubble.
Gymnastics Hosts Hamline Friday Night
The Gustavus gymnastics team is set to host Hamline at 7 p.m. Friday in a WIAC dual meet. The Gusties are coming off a season-high 184.775 team score against UW-Stout last Friday at home, while the Pipers posted a 182.525 against UW-Eau Claire last week.

The Gustavus women’s basketball team continues postseason play Thursday night at St. Thomas in the MIAC semifinals. Tipoff in St. Paul, Minn. is set for 5 p.m. at Schoenecker Arena. The No. 5 seed Gusties enter the game 15-11 overall, while the No. 1 seed Tommies are 24-1.

The Gustavus women's hockey team will play host to Saint Mary's on Thursday night for a MIAC quarterfinal contest. The Gusties enter the contest 15-5-5 overall and 11-3-4 in the MIAC while the Cardinals are 9-10-6 overall and 6-8-4 in the league.
Track & Field Set to Compete at MIAC Indoor Championships This Weekend
The Gustavus men’s and women’s track & field teams are set to compete in the MIAC Indoor Championships on Thursday through Saturday at St. Olaf College. The men’s heptathlon and women’s pentathlon are on Thursday with the rest of the events running Friday and Saturday.

The Gustavus men's basketball team suffered a MIAC quarterfinal loss to Bethel Tuesday night 93-67. The loss will conclude the season for the Gusties who posted an 11-15 overall record.
Women’s Basketball Upends Saint Ben’s 73-43 in MIAC Quarterfinal
The Gustavus women’s basketball team started its MIAC postseason run Tuesday with a decisive 73-43 quarterfinal win at Saint Benedict. The No. 5 Gusties controlled the boards, doubling up the No. 3 Bennies 46-23, while shooting an efficient 55.2 percent from the field. The Gustie defense was also stingy, holding the home team 28.8 percent shooting.
