BLOOMINGTON, Minn. – The Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference has named Nolan Larson (So., West Des Moines, Iowa) its Men’s Swimming & Diving Athlete of the Week for his performance at Carleton last Friday.
Larson collected a trio of first-place finishes to help Gustavus top Carleton 207-82. The sophomore swimmer clocked in at 48.37 in the 100-yard freestyle, 52.93 in the 100-yard butterfly, and 1:57.54 in the 200-yard butterfly. He also competed on the Gusties’ 200-yard freestyle relay team that finished in 1:28.52. Larson’s time in the 200-yard butterfly is the second-fastest in the MIAC this season.
