BLOOMINGTON, Minn. – The Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (MIAC) announced its Women’s Hockey Athlete of the Week on Monday and Gustavus goalie Amanda DiNella (Sr., Oakbrook Terrace, Ill.) was recognized with the award. The Gusties were outshot by No. 9 ranked UW-Eau Claire in their Saturday contest by a tally of 53-21 but thanks to excellent work in goal from DiNella, the Gusties managed a 2-2 tie. DiNella made 51 saves in the game, the second time she has surpassed 50 saves in her career, and allowed just the two goals for a save percentage of .962.
