SAINT PETER, Minn. – The Gustavus women’s soccer team is back in action on Saturday with a 1 p.m. contest versus Augsburg at the Gustie Soccer Field. The Gusties come into the contest at 4-4-1 and a 1-2-1 mark in the conference while the Auggies are 4-5 and hold a 2-0 MIAC record.
The Gusties are coming off two tough losses and look to get back to their winning ways. In the Gusties most recent defeat, they fell to St. Olaf by a tally of 2-1 with Lauren Johnson (So., Woodbury, Minn.) scoring the lone Gustie goal. On the season, Abby Mullenbach (Jr., Lakeville, Minn.) leads the way with 10 points on four goals and two assists while Emily Skogseth (Sr., Burnsville, Minn.) is second on the team in points with seven. Abby Goodno (Fy., Little Canada, Minn.) has started seven games in net for the Gusties with a record of 3-3-1.
