Men’s Hockey Hosts MIAC Playoff Quarterfinal Versus Concordia

The Gustavus men’s hockey team is set to open the Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference Playoffs, hosting a quarterfinal matchup against Concordia College Thursday evening. The No. 4 seeded Gusties (10-12-3, 9-7 MIAC) take on the No. 5 seeded Cobbers (10-12-3, 7-8-1 MIAC) at 7:05 p.m. from Don Roberts Ice Rink.

Softball Celebrates 50th Season This Year

The Gustavus softball team has reached a special milestone this year as the program celebrates its 50th season at the College. Gustavus softball started in 1969 under the direction of Hall of Fame coach Gretchen Koehler and has evolved into a perpetual contender in the Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference.

Gymnastics Scores School Record Vault At Towson Triangular

The Gustavus gymnastics team competed at Towson University along with Southern Connecticut State Sunday afternoon, turning in a season-high total of 184.925 for third place, the fourth highest team score in program history.

Women’s Tennis Opens MIAC Play With Sweep At Saint Mary’s

The No. 29-ranked Gustavus women's tennis team earned its first win of the 2018 campaign Sunday, opening Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference action with its fifth consecutive 9-0 victory over the Cardinals. 

Men’s Swim & Dive Finishes Second At MIAC Championships

The Gustavus men’s swim & dive team finished the MIAC Championships on Saturday with a second place finish, scoring 759.5 points. St. Thomas won the title with 908 points and Saint John's took third with 398 points.

Women’s Swim & Dive Finishes Second At MIAC Championships

The Gustavus women’s swim & dive team finished the MIAC Championships on Saturday with a second place finish, scoring 657 points. St. Thomas won the title with 867 points and St. Olaf took third with 492 points.

Men’s Tennis Wins Three Matches As Split Squad

The No. 16-ranked Gustavus men’s tennis team won three matches Saturday as a split squad, improving to 4-3 overall and 1-0 in the MIAC. The Gusties started the day with a home-opening 8-1 win over Morningside at the Swanson Tennis Center, followed by a 7-2 win over Luther at home and a 9-0 sweep at Saint Mary’s to start MIAC play.

Men’s Hockey Drops Season Finale At Saint John’s, 2-1

The Gustavus men's hockey team was defeated by a score of 2-1 Saturday evening against No. 14-ranked Saint John's University at the Herb Brooks National Hockey Center during the regular season finale, putting the Gusties at the No. 4 seed heading into the Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference playoffs.

Women’s Hoops Caps Regular Season With 77-66 Win At St. Kate’s

The Gustavus women’s basketball team closed out the regular season Saturday with a 77-66 victory at St. Catherine. The Gusties, who secured the No. 3 seed for the MIAC playoffs, improved to 20-5 overall and 14-4 in the league. St. Kate’s captured the No. 6 and final playoff spot, meaning Gustavus will host the Wildcats at 7 p.m. Tuesday in the first round of the conference playoffs.

Women’s Hockey Claims Share Of MIAC Title With 7-1 Win Over Saint Ben’s

The Gustavus women's hockey team won big during its regular season finale Saturday afternoon at Don Roberts Ice Rink, winning 7-1 over the College of Saint Benedict for the series sweep, on senior day.
