Women’s Hockey Back To MIAC Action, Takes On St. Thomas In Top-10 Battle

The No. 4-ranked Gustavus women’s hockey returns home to Don Roberts Ice Rink on Friday for the first time since Dec. 6, taking on No. 8-ranked St. Thomas for a home-home series. Friday’s game starts at 7 p.m., while Saturday’s game in Mendota Heights, Minn. begins at 2 p.m. The Gusties enter the conference series on a seven-game winning streak at 10-1-1 overall and 5-1 in the MIAC, while the Tommies are 8-3-2 overall and 4-1-1 in the league.

Men’s Hockey Heads Back Into MIAC Play Against Tommies

The Gustavus men’s hockey team is set to head back into Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference action this weekend with a series against the University of St. Thomas. The Tommies (7-5-1, 2-1-1 MIAC) hosts the Gusties (6-6-3, 5-1 MIAC) on Friday prior to Gustavus hosting St. Thomas Saturday.

The Gustavus men's basketball team earned its third consecutive Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference victory Wednesday evening, defeating Saint Mary's University 69-62 to complete the series sweep. 

Strong Defensive Effort Leads To Women’s Basketball Win Over Saint Mary’s

The No. 20 Gustavus women’s basketball team cruised to a 65-38 victory over Saint Mary’s on Wednesday, improving to 12-2 overall and 6-1 in the MIAC. The Gusties limited the Cardinals to 31 percent shooting and held the second leading scorer in the league to nine points.

The Gustavus men's basketball team put together a season-high point total in a 98-79 Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference victory over Macalester College Monday evening, improving to 8-5 overall and 6-2 during conference play.

The Gustavus men's hockey team came up short at the University of Wisconsin-River Falls Saturday evening at Hobbs Ice Center, falling 3-1 against the Falcons, dropping its overall record to 6-6-3 overall. 

Gymnastics Drops Home Opener To UW-Eau Claire

The Gustavus gymnastics team opened its 2018 campaign Saturday with a Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference dual meet against UW-Eau Claire at the Sponberg Gymnastics Studio. The Gusties lost 181.275-175.8.
