Kate Reilly Named MIAC Women’s Swim & Dive Athlete Of The Week

The Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference announced its Women’s Swimming & Diving Athlete of the Week award Tuesday afternoon and Kate Reilly (Sr., Hastings, Minn.) earned the honor.

BLOOMINGTON, Minn. – The Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference announced its Women’s Swimming & Diving Athlete of the Week award Tuesday afternoon and Kate Reilly (Sr., Hastings, Minn.) earned the honor.

Reilly helped guide the Gusties to a 205-97 MIAC dual victory over Saint Benedict on Saturday. Reilly won all four events she competed in – the 200 medley relay (1:51.07), 100 freestyle (54.76), 100 butterfly (1:00.52), and 400 freestyle relay (3:41.69).

With two weeks to go until the MIAC Championships, Reilly currently ranks among the top swimmers in the MIAC in multiple events. The Hastings, Minn. native ranks first in the 100 IM, second in the 100 butterfly, fourth in the 50 freestyle, and fifth in the 100 freestyle.
