BLOOMINGTON, Minn. – Gustavus first-year standout Nolan Larson (West Des Moines, Iowa) continued to impress Saturday at the Grace Goblirsch Memorial Invitational, hosted by Gustavus. Larson was a member of the winning 200 medley and 200 freestyle relay teams, touching the wall in 1:40.83 and 1:28.31, respectively. Larson also won two individual races – the 500 freestyle in 4:57.28 and the 200 IM in 2:01.84 – and took second in the 100 breaststroke (1:00.22) behind teammate and 2017 MIAC Swimmer of the Year Tanner Sonnek. The MIAC Swimmer of the Week honor is Larson’s second of the season after winning the award on Oct. 31.
