Men’s Soccer Comes Up Empty At Saint Mary’s

The Gustavus men’s soccer team was shut out 2-0 at Saint Mary's University Wednesday evening, dropping its overall record to 9-5-0 overall and 4-3-0 during Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference.

Gusties Sweep Tommies To Claim Top Position In MIAC Standings

The No. 11-ranked Gustavus volleyball team swept the No. 19-ranked University of St. Thomas during Cancer Awareness Night at Gus Young Court Wednesday evening to take hold of the first place spot in the Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference standings. 

Briana Hartmann To Compete In ITA Oracle Cup

Gustavus women’s tennis player Briana Hartmann (Jr., Owatonna, Minn.) is set to compete in the ITA Oracle Cup on Thursday in Rome, Ga. The eight-player singles tournament features the eight regional champions from throughout the country. Hartmann will take on No. 1 seed Eudice Chong of Wesleyan at 9 a.m. EST Thursday. The winner will face the winner of Rachel Summer of Mary Washington and Claire Handa of Chicago.

Men’s Soccer Heads To Winona In Search Of Five-Straight

The Gustavus men’s soccer team continues Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference play Wednesday afternoon, heading to Winona, Minn. to take on Saint Mary's University. The Gusties (9-4-0 overall, 4-2-0 MIAC) face the Cardinals (7-6-0, 1-4-0 MIAC) at 4 p.m. in search of their fifth consecutive victory. 

Alhouni And Whaling Set To Head To ITA Oracle Cup

Mohanad Alhouni (Sr., Tripoli, Libya) and Patrick Whaling (Jr., Manikob Sabot, Va.) will represent the Gustavus men’s tennis team at the 2017 ITA Oracle Cup, held at Rome Tennis Center at Berry College in Rome, Georgia October 12-15.

Women’s Soccer And Saint Mary’s End In Scoreless Draw

The Gustavus women’s soccer team battled Saint Mary’s to a scoreless draw Tuesday night. The tie moves the Gusties to 7-4-2 overall and 3-3-1 in the Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference, while the Cardinals move to 5-7-1 overall and 0-6-1 in the league.

Volleyball Entertains Tommies On Cancer Awareness Night

The Gustavus volleyball team returns to Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference action Wednesday evening, hosting the University of St. Thomas during Cancer Awareness Night at Gus Young Court in a matchup of the top two teams in the conference standings. 

Women’s Golf Takes Fifth At MIAC Championships

The Gustavus women’s golf team concluded its fall season on a blistering cold Monday, taking fifth place at the MIAC Championships held at Pebble Creek Golf Club. The Gusties finished with a score of 330-316-329-975, which was 51 strokes behind the winner Carleton at 924. Saint Benedict took second at 943 and St. Thomas took third at 952. Ziyi Wang held the lead throughout the tournament to claim medalist honors with a total of 224.  

Nora Holtan Named MIAC Volleyball Setter Of The Week

The Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference announced its Volleyball Athlete of the Week awards this afternoon, with Gustavus setter Nora Holtan (Jr., Rochester, Minn.) earning the Setter of the Week honor.
