Parens Leads Men’s Soccer To 50 Season Celebration Victory

The Gustavus men's soccer team earned a 2-0 shutout over Saint John's University on a rainy Saturday afternoon at Gustie Soccer Field during the 50th season celebration, led by a two-goal performance from Arthur Parens (Jr., Wayzata, Minn.). 

Alhouni Claims ITA Oracle Cup Singles Title

No. 1 seeded Gustavus men's tennis standout Mohanad Alhouni (Sr., Tripoli, Libya) defeated Daniel Levine of Carnegie Mellon University 6-4, 6-4 Saturday morning at Rome Tennis Center at Berry College to capture the 2017 ITA Oracle Cup Singles Championship. 

Hartmann Advances To ITA Oracle Cup Consolation Final

Briana Hartmann (Jr., Owatonna, Minn.) won a two-hour, 40-minute consolation semifinal match against Rachel Summers of Mary Washington by a score of 5-7, 6-4, 4-1 (retired) Friday at the ITA Oracle Cup. Summers retired in the third set due to the heat and long points.

Gustavus men's tennis player Mohanad Alhouni (Sr., Tripoli, Libya) defeated Jonathan Jemison of Emory University Friday morning to advance to the 2017 ITA Oracle Cup Singles Championship.

Women’s Soccer Back Home Saturday, Hosts Saint Ben’s

The Gustavus women’s soccer team is back home Saturday as it plays host to Saint Benedict in a key MIAC matchup, beginning at 3:30 p.m. The Gusties enter the contest 7-4-2 overall and 3-3-1 in the MIAC – sitting in sixth place – while the fourth place Blazers are 8-2-1 overall and 4-2-1 in the league.

Cross Country To Take Part In UW-La Crosse Drews/Neubauer Invite

The Gustavus men’s and women’s cross country teams are set to compete in the UW-La Crosse Drews/Neubauer Invitational on Saturday. The 37th annual Jim Drews Invite (men) begins at 10:30 a.m., while the 24th annual Tori Neubauer Invite (women) starts at 11:30 a.m. at the Ettrick Golf Club in Ettrick, Wis.

The Gustavus men’s soccer team continues Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference play Saturday afternoon, hosting Saint John's University during the 50 season celebration. The Gusties (9-5-0 overall, 4-3-0 MIAC) face the Johnnies (5-5-2, 2-2-2 MIAC) at 1 p.m. at Gustie Soccer Field.

Gustavus women’s tennis player Briana Hartmann (Jr., Owatonna, Minn.) lost in the first round of the ITA Oracle Cup on Thursday to No. 1 seed and three-time defending national champion Eudice Chong of Wesleyan 6-1, 6-1.

Gusties And Royals To Battle For MIAC Football Upper Echelon

The Gustavus football team is set to face Bethel University on Saturday afternoon, looking to bounce back after recuperating from its first conference loss with a bye week. The Gusties (3-2, 2-1 MIAC) host the Royals (2-4, 2-2 MIAC) at 1 p.m. at Hollingsworth Field.
