The No. 10-ranked Gustavus volleyball team swept Carleton College in the home opener on Wednesday evening at Gus Young Court, improving its overall record to 13-1 and 2-0 during Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference play.
Men’s Soccer Overmatches Viterbo In 6-0 Win
The Gustavus men's soccer team took down Viterbo University with six different scorers on Wednesday afternoon, earning their third shutout of the season and improving their record to 5-3-0 on the season.
Late Goal Pushes Women’s Soccer Past UW-Stout 2-1
For the second straight game, the Gustavus women’s soccer team claimed a 2-1 victory, this time against the University of Wisconsin-Stout on Tuesday. A goal with less than eight minutes remaining in regulation proved to be the game-winner for the Gusties as they improve to 5-1-1 overall, while UW-Stout drops to 1-4.

Women’s Golf Takes Eighth In Highly Competitive NCAA Preview
The Gustavus women’s golf team concluded play at the NCAA Division III Preview on Monday, taking eighth place out 14 teams in a nationally ranked field. The Gusties posted a 325-330-655, which was 49 strokes behind the winner New York University. Carnegie Mellon took second with a 639 and Washington and Lee placed third with a 641.
Women’s Soccer Hosts UW-Stout Tuesday In Non-League Match
The Gustavus women’s soccer team continues its homestand at 4 p.m. Tuesday as it hosts the University of Wisconsin-Stout. The Gusties enter the match 4-1-1 overall and 2-0 in the Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference after a 2-1 victory Saturday against Concordia, while the Blue Devils are 1-3 overall after most recently defeating UW-Superior 4-0 last Wednesday.
Kate Holtan Named MIAC Volleyball Hitter Of The Week
The Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference announced its Volleyball Athlete of the Week awards this afternoon, with Gustavus right side/outside hitter Kate Holtan (Fy., Rochester, Minn.) earning the Hitter of the Week honor.
