CHICAGO, Ill. – The No. 38-ranked Gustavus women’s tennis team defeated Kenyon College 5-3 on Saturday afternoon to advance to a NCAA Regional Final match for the first time since 2010.
With the win, the Gusties improve their record to 21-7 on the season and also notch their 38th NCAA Tournament victory.
“Today was a phenomenal match,” said Head Coach Jon Carlson. “Everybody stepped up at every position and I couldn’t be more proud of the effort today. We are excited to be in the regional final for the first time in seven years and to play a great team like Chicago. It will be a challenge that we are excited to face.”
