Women’s Tennis Sweeps Bethel 9-0

The No. 36 ranked Gustavus women’s tennis team shut out Bethel 9-0 Saturday in a Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference match. The win keeps the Gusties unbeaten at 6-0 overall and 2-0 in the MIAC, while Bethel falls to 6-2 overall and 1-2 in the league.

ST. PETER, Minn. – The No. 36 ranked Gustavus women’s tennis team shut out Bethel 9-0 Saturday in a Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference match. The win keeps the Gusties unbeaten at 6-0 overall and 2-0 in the MIAC, while Bethel falls to 6-2 overall and 1-2 in the league.

“I’m exited by the improvements I have seen in just the few short weeks into the season,” said Head Coach Jon Carlson. “We will continue to work hard in practice to try to grow and improve as a team.”
