Volleyball Splits Against Nationally Ranked Opponents

The Gustavus volleyball team faced a pair of nationally ranked opponents Friday to open the Sandy Schumacher Tournament hosted by the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire and came away with a split to move to 16-5 overall. The Gusties lost in five sets to No. 21-ranked UW-Oshkosh and rebounded with a five-set victory over No. 22-ranked UW-Eau Claire.

Men’s Soccer Looks To Rebound Saturday At Bethel

The Gustavus men’s soccer team travels to Arden Hills, Minn. Saturday to face the Bethel Royals for its eighth Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference game of the season. The Gusties enter tomorrow’s 3:30 p.m. match 4-8-1 overall and 3-3-1 in the MIAC, while the Royals are 8-5-1 overall and 2-3-1 in MIAC play. Gustavus is currently tied in the MIAC standings with Saint John’s for third, while Bethel and Augsburg are tied for eighth.

Football Heads To Bethel Saturday Fresh Off Bye Week

The Gustavus Adolphus College football team enters Week 7 of the season after enjoying its bye last Saturday. The Gusties come into Saturday’s Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference matchup at Bethel University with a 3-2 overall record and a 1-2 mark in the league, while the Royals are 2-4 overall and 2-2 in the conference after a convincing 56-8 victory at Carleton College last Saturday.
