BLOOMINGTON, Minn. – Gustavus junior forward Hannah Sturtz (Jr., Plymouth, Minn.) played a key part in Gustavus’ two victories last week as she registered one goal and two assists for a big four-point week. Sturtz tallied the game-winning assist in a 2-1 win over UW-Stout, and then followed that performance with a goal and assist in a 4-2 victory at St. Catherine. Her assist against the Wildcats set up the game winning goal in the 70th minute, and her goal in the 77th minute – a kick to the high corner over the goalkeeper – provided some insurance in a key MIAC victory. Gustavus improved to 9-5-2 overall and 5-4 in the MIAC with the two big wins.
