Men’s Golf Ranked No. 20, Women No. 22 In Most Recent GCAA National Polls

The Gustavus Adolphus College men’s and women’s golf teams are each ranked in the top-25 nationally in the most recent Golf Coaches Association of America (GCAA) poll that was released last Wednesday. The men’s team is ranked 20th with 76 points, while the women’s squad is ranked 22nd with 100 points.

NORMAN, Okla. – The Gustavus Adolphus College men’s and women’s golf teams are each ranked in the top-25 nationally in the most recent Golf Coaches Association of America (GCAA) polls that were released last Wednesday. The men’s team is ranked 20th with 76 points, while the women’s squad is ranked 22nd with 100 points.

The Gustie men enter the spring after tying for third place at the MIAC Championships in October, finishing just six strokes behind champion Augsburg. The women have already opened their spring schedule, as they took sixth place at the George Fox Invitational March 12-13, competing against five other nationally-ranked opponents.

Both teams are back in action on April 1, with the men beginning a three-day competition in the Camp LeJeune Invitational in Camp LeJeune, North Carolina. Meanwhile, the women’s squad will be in Ponte Vedra Beach, Florida for a duel meet with Flagler College.
