Women’s Tennis Victorious Over Division II MSU, Mankato 8-1

The Gustavus Adolphus College women’s tennis team came away from its lone Saturday match victorious, as it defeated Minnesota State University, Mankato 8-1. The win moves the Gusties to 10-4 overall in its final competition before heading to Madison, Wis. for the competitive Midwest Invite.

ST. PETER, Minn. – The Gustavus Adolphus College women’s tennis team came away from its lone Saturday match victorious, as it defeated Minnesota State University, Mankato 8-1. The win moves the Gusties to 10-4 overall in its final competition before heading to Madison, Wis. for the competitive Midwest Invite.

“The team played really well today against a tough MSU squad,” said assistant coach Heidi Carlson. “MSU is a tough bunch and has some great players and big hitters, especially at the top of their lineup. We did a great job of making adjustments through the course of our individual matches, which is not always an easy task to accomplish.”
