KANSAS CITY, Mo. – The Gustavus women’s soccer team was recently recognized with the National Soccer Coaches Association of America College (NSCAA) Team Academic Award for the 2014-15 academic year. The Gusties posted a team grade point average of 3.62 last year.
The NSCAA annually recognizes college and high school soccer programs that have excelled in the classroom, in addition to their work on the field. A total of 886 soccer teams (313 men, 573 women) posted a team grade point average of 3.0 or higher, thereby earning the academic distinction.
Gustavus has earned the NSCAA team academic award five times – 2002, 2011, 2013, 2014 and 2015.
