St. Peter, Minn. – The Gustavus Adolphus College men’s hockey team heads into non-conference action this weekend with a pair of games against members of the Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference. The Gusties will begin the weekend on Friday, Nov. 7 with a 7:05 p.m. game against the Pointers of UW-Stevens Point. On Saturday, Nov. 8, Gustavus will face off against the Blue Devils of UW-Stout at 7:05 p.m.
Gustavus carries a 1-1-0 overall record after last weekend’s season-opening MIAC Showcase held Oct. 31 through Nov. 2 at the Schwan Super Rink in Blaine, Minnesota. UW-Stevens Point is 1-0-0 after beginning its season with an 11-0 victory over Finlandia last Saturday in Stevens Point, Wisconsin. UW-Stout heads into the weekend seeking its first win after suffering a 6-2 loss to Lake Forest on Saturday in Lake Forest, Illinois. The Blue Devils will take on Hamline University on Friday, Nov. 7 at 7:00 p.m. before heading to St. Peter to finish their weekend against the Gusties.
