St. Peter, Minn. – The Gustavus Adolphus men’s tennis team improved its winning-streak to 12 matches with three wins over MIAC opponents on Saturday at the Swanson Tennis Center. The Gusties swept Bethel 9-0, Concordia 9-0, and Macalester 9-0 to improve to 13-1 overall and 5-0 in the MIAC. Gustavus has not allowed a point to a league opponent yet this season.
The Gustavus men’s tennis team will now gear up for a trip to Claremont, California where it will take part in the Stag-Hen Invitational next weekend. The Gusties will kick off the trek with a noon match against Emory University on Friday, March 14. They are then scheduled to face either Washington University or Carnegie Mellon University later in the day at 4:30 p.m. The final round of the Stag-Hen Invite will be held on Saturday, March 15 at 11:30 a.m.
