Jackson, Wis. – The Gustavus Adolphus men’s tennis team capped off the weekend with a 7-2 victory over UW-Whitewater on Sunday afternoon at the Pleasant Valley Tennis & Fitness Club. The win was Gustavus’s ninth straight, helping the Gusties improve to 10-1 on the season.
Gustavus swept the doubles competition for the third time this weekend before earning four of six points in singles play. The Gusties are now 7-1 against regional opponents.
The Gustavus men’s tennis team will once again be busy next Saturday, March 8 when it plays host to three MIAC opponents. The Gusties will face Bethel at 9:00 a.m., Concordia at 1:00 p.m., and Macalester at 6:30 p.m. Gustavus is 2-0 within league play heading into next weekend.
