Something’s Gotta Give, MIAC Leaders Gustavus And St. Thomas Square Off This Weekend

St. Peter, Minn. – The Gustavus Adolphus men’s hockey team heads back into Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference play with a home-and-home series against the Tommies of the University of St. Thomas this weekend.  This weekend’s series has huge MIAC Championship implications as St. Thomas leads the league with 33 points at 16-3-2 overall and 10-0-2 in the MIAC, while Gustavus ranks second with 32 points and are 13-4-4 overall and 10-1-1 in the MIAC.

The Gusties and Tommies will begin the weekend on Friday, Feb. 14 with a 7:30 p.m. game at the St. Thomas Ice Arena in Mendota Heights. The two squads will then bring the series to a close on Saturday, Feb. 15 with a 7:05 p.m. contest at Don Roberts Ice Rink in St. Peter.
