St. Peter, Minn – The Gustavus Adolphus men’s hockey team will continue Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference play with a home-and-home series against the Cardinals of Saint Mary’s University this weekend. The Gusties and Cardinals will kick off the weekend on Friday, Jan. 24 with a 7:05 p.m. game at Don Roberts Ice Rink in St. Peter. The two teams will then bring the weekend to a close with a 7:00 p.m. game on Saturday, Jan. 25 at the SMU Ice Arena in Winona.
Gustavus enters the weekend in first place in the conference standings with 20 points at 9-4-3 overall and 6-1-1 in the MIAC. Saint Mary’s ranks ninth in the league with six points at 6-8-1 overall and 2-4-0 in the MIAC.
