St. Peter, Minn. – The Gustavus Adolphus women’s hockey team retained its No. 2 ranking for the 10th consecutive week in the latest USCHO.com Division III women’s hockey poll Monday evening. After their first tie of the year, the Gusties remain one of two unbeaten teams this season with a record of 20-0-1. The only other team without a mark in its loss column is Plattsburgh State, the No. 1 team in this week’s poll, with a record of 21-0-2. St. Thomas and Concordia also received votes this week, but Gustavus remains the lone representative of the MIAC in the top 10. The Gusties will be back on the ice Friday, Feb. 15th when they square off with St. Olaf in an MIAC weekend series. The puck will drop at 7:30 p.m. in Northfield Friday night before the two teams return to St. Peter for a 2:00 p.m. opening face-off on Saturday afternoon.
