Women’s Tennis Drops Season Opener 9-0 To Hawaii Pacific

The Gustavus women’s tennis team began its 2012 spring campaign with a 9-0 loss to Hawaii Pacific University on Friday afternoon in Honolulu, Hawaii.  Hawaii Pacific, who is ranked No. 5 in NCAA Division II according to the final fall rankings put out by Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA), earns its first win of the season after a sweep of both singles and doubles.

The Gustavus women’s tennis team will return to sunny Minnesota and be back on the court Saturday, Feb. 11 when it takes on Augustana College at 2:00 p.m. at the Swanson Tennis Center.
