Volleyball Rolls Past Macalester 3-0

The Gustavus volleyball team rolled to a 3-0 victory over Macalester on Friday night in St. Paul. Gustavus improves to 13-5 overall and 3-1 in the MIAC with the victory, while Macalester drops to 5-13 overall and 0-4 in the MIAC.

Mark Bartley led the Gusties with a 19th place finish at the Blugold Invite on Friday. 

Men’s Cross Country Finishes 11th At Blugold Invitational

The Gustavus men’s cross country team ran to an 11th place finish against its largest field of competitors of the season on Friday at the Blugold Invitational held at the Whitetail Golf Course in Eau Claire, Wis. The Gusties finished with 279 points and an average team time of 26:41. Mark Bartley (Blue Earth, Minn.) was the Gustavus’ top competitor at the meet, finishing 19th out 372 competitors with a time of 25:55.9.

Football Set To Battle Concordia On Homecoming

Gustavus welcomes Concordia College to Lloyd Hollingsworth Field for today’s early season MIAC match-up. The Gusties enter the game with an overall record of 0-3 and a MIAC mark of 0-1 after falling 44-26 to St. Olaf in their conference opener last weekend in Northfield. Concordia comes into today’s game at 2-2 overall and 0-2 in the MIAC after suffering a 48-30 loss to St. Thomas last Saturday in Moorhead.
