Softball Team Wraps Up Regular Season With Sweep of St. Scholastica

The Gustavus softball team wrapped up a successful regular season with a sweep of St. Scholastica at the Jane Sage Cowles Stadium on the University of Minnesota campus. The Gusties won game behind the two-hit pitching of Callie Nelsen and then claimed game two 11-2 thanks to a six-run fourth inning.

Katie Schenfeld Named MIAC Golfer of the Week For The Third Time This Spring

Gustavus Adolphus College junior Katie Schenfeld (Indianola, Iowa) earned MIAC Golfer of the Week honors for the third time this Spring after claiming medalist honors at the UW-Eau Claire Invitational at Wild Ridge Golf Course in Eau Claire last weekend.

Baseball Sweeps Martin Luther 10-6, And 20-3

The Gustavus baseball team got the bats rolling in a doubleheader sweep over non-conference opponent Martin Luther College by scores of 10-6 and 20-3 on Monday afternoon in St. Peter, Minn. Andrew Woitas and Adam Bren registered wins on the mound for the Gusties, as Kyle Rains was the top Gustavus hitter, going 7-for-8 with three runs, four RBIs, and a double on the day.

Sam Broderius Earns MIAC Women’s Track & Field Field Athlete Of The Week Honors

Gustavus Adolphus Junior Sam Broderius (Hector, Minn./Buffalo Lake-Hector) has been named MIAC Women's Outdoor Track and Field Field Athlete of the Week for her performances at the Gustie Invitational held in St. Peter, Minn. on Saturday afternoon.

Men’s Tennis Falls To Luther 5-4

The Gustavus men's tennis team dropped a tight 5-4 decision to Luther College at the Swanson Indoor Tennis Center on Sunday afternoon. The Gusties got off to a slow start dropping all three doubles matches, but then rallied to win four of the six singles matches.

Softball Splits Doubleheader With Central College

The Gustavus softball team split a non-conference doubleheader with Midwest Region foe Central College on Sunday afternoon in St. Peter. The Gusties lost game one 1-0 and then bounced back to win game two 8-1.

Women’s Golf Continues Outstanding Play, Wins UW-Eau Claire Invitational

The Gustavus women's golf team completed the most dominating spring regular season in the program's history by winning the UW-Eau Claire Invitational by 20 strokes over host UW-Eau Claire on Sunday afternoon at Wild Ridge Golf Course in Eau Claire, Wis. Katie Schenfeld claimed medalist honors for the third time this Spring and Gustavus golfers Schenfeld (first), Kali Griggs (tie second), and Taylor Drenttel (tie second) claimed the top three spots individually.

Men’s Tennis Remains Perfect In MIAC Play With 8-1 Win At St. Olaf

The Gustavus men's tennis team defeated St. Olaf 8-1 in Northfield on Saturday afternoon to finish MIAC regular season play with a perfect 9-0 record. This is the 25th consecutive season that the Gusties have posted an undefeated record in MIAC regular season play.

Women’s Golf In First Place After First Day of UW-Eau Claire Invitational

The Gustavus women's golf team turned in a very strong round in difficult conditions and leads the UW-Eau Claire Invitational by 18 strokes over host UW-Eau Claire. The Gusties, who fired a team score of 312, posted five of the top six individual scores of the day. Kali Griggs and Kate Schenfeld are tied for first with first round scores of 77.

Softball Sweeps St. Ben’s, Clinches #2 Seed In MIAC Playoffs

The Gustavus softball team wrapped up regular season conference play with a doubleheader sweep of St. Ben's in St. Joseph on Saturday afternoon. The Gusties won game one 10-0 and then claimed game two 5-0. Dani Cattrysse sparked the Gustavus offense as she was 4-for-4 at the plate with six RBI in the two games.
