Men’s Indoor Track & Field Ready To Take Part In 2010 MIAC Indoor Track & Field Championships

The Gustavus men’s indoor track and field team looks to improve on last season’s eighth place finish, as it is set to compete at the 2010 MIAC Indoor Track and Field Championships hosted by Carleton College in Northfield, Minn. The Gusties, under the direction of Dale Bahr in his first season as head coach, will look for strong individual performances and a top five team finish.

Women’s Indoor Track & Field Set To Compete At 2010 MIAC Indoor Track & Field Championships

After finishing runner up the previous two seasons, the Gustavus women’s indoor track and field team looks forward to the opportunity to challenge St. Thomas for the conference crown at the 2010 MIAC Indoor Track and Field Championships hosted by Carleton College in Northfield, Minn. First year Head Coach Dale Bahr currently has 15 individuals ranked in the top 10 of the MIAC Performance lists.

Gustavus Gymnastics Team Set To Host 2010 WIAC Gymnastics Championship

The Gustavus Adolphus gymnastics team is set to host the 2010 WIAC Women's Gymnastics Championship, which will be held on Sunday, March 7, at 3:00 pm in St. Peter, Minn. This will be the 37th WIAC Gymnastics Championship. The event will take place in the Lund Center Forum. Ticket prices are $8.00 for adults and $5.00 for students. Children 10 under and adults 65 and older are free.

Max Hanson Named MIAC Indoor Track Athlete Of The Week

Gustavus Adolphus senior Max Hanson has been named MIAC Men's Indoor Track Athlete of the Week for his efforts at the Macalester Pre-MIAC Meet on Friday in St. Paul. Hanson won the 600-yard run with a time of 1:12.35. Hanson's time set a new Macalester Fieldhouse record, tied the MIAC Indoor Championship record, and placed him in first on the MIAC performance list in the 600-yard run.
