Bri Radtke And Molly Geske Named To ESPN The Magazine Academic All-District 5 Team Posted on February 11th, 2010 by

Gustavus Adolphus senior Bri Radtke and sophomore Molly Geske are two of three women’s basketball student-athletes from the Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (MIAC) named to the 2009-10 ESPN The Magazine Academic All-District 5 Team, as selected by the College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA).  Ratdtke and Geske join Concordia’s Eric Nord on the Academic All-District Third Team.

Bri Radtke, a native of Winsted, Minnesota, has been a staple of the Gustavus backcourt for the past four seasons, playing in a total of 104 games.  Radtke is a two-time captain of the Gustavus women’s basketball team and was selected to the 2008-09 MIAC All-Conference team last season.  She has compiled a total of 158 steals, 358 assists, and 834 points during her tenure at Gustavus.  Radtke currently ranks first in the MIAC in assists per game (4.36), while ranking 25th in the nation in assist to turnover ratio (1.72).  Bri Radtke majors in Health Fitness and holds a 3.94 GPA, while volunteering at the Pheasant’s Ridge Assisted Living and Memory Care Volunteer in St. Peter, Minn.

Molly Geske, a native of Mendota Heights, Minnesota, has started in all 46 games of her college career.  Geske was a member of the MIAC All-First Year Team last season, averaging 10.3 points per game.  She has scored a total of 580 points in her career, while tallying 46 assists, 83 steals, and 146 rebounds.  She currently ranks eighth in the MIAC in scoring, averaging 14.1 points per game, while shooting .439 from the field this season.  Molly Geske is a Public Accounting major and has a 3.92 GPA.  She also volunteers for the Building Bridges program at Gustavus.
