Men’s And Women’s Swimming & Diving Return Home From Winter Training Trip In Puerto Rico

The Gustavus men's and women's swimming and diving teams returned home from their Christmas training trip in Puerto Rico on Saturday. During their time in Puerto Rico, the Gusties took on Marist College in an unscored dual meet at the National Natatorium in San Juan.

Men’s & Women’s Nordic Skiing Take Part In U.S. Cross Country Ski Championships

Andrew Poffenberger, Jens Brabbit, Zach Wagner, Cassandra Brady, and Erica Hett are represented the Gustavus Adolphus men's and women's nordic ski teams at the U.S. Cross Country Championships in Anchorage, Alaska the past week. The Championships run from Jan. 2-8 and includes around 500 of the top cross country skiers from around the nation.

Men’s Basketball Cruises Past Macalester 70-38

The Gustavus men's basketball team cruised to a 70-38 victory over Macalester College on Monday night in St. Paul, Minn. Phil Wirtjes and Ryan McPartland were Gustavus's leading scorers with 11 and 10 points, respectively. The Gusties shot 51% (25-49) from the field in the game, as Macalester shot 35.6% (16-45).

Women’s Basketball Falls To Macalester 73-61

The Gustavus women's basketball team was unable to stop an explosive second half outburst by the Macalester Scots as the Gusties lost 73-61 and suffered their first setback in conference play this season. Gustavus led 26-23 at halftime, but Macalester exploded for 50 second half points and pulled away in the final five minutes to claim the 12-point victory. The Gusties were led by Bri Radtke with 20 points.

Men’s Hockey Completes Weekend Sweep With 5-3 Win Over Marian

The Gustavus men's hockey team completed a weekend sweep of Marian University with a 5-3 win over the Sabres on Sunday afternoon in Fond du Lac, Wisconsin. The Gusties got third period goals from Tony Palma and David Martinson to break a 3-3 tie and claim the 5-3 victory.

Men’s Hockey Defeats Marian 4-3 For Fifth Straight Win

The Gustavus men's hockey team posted a 4-3 non-conference win over Marian University in Fond du Lac, Wisconsin on Saturday evening. The two teams will wrap up the series on Sunday afternoon at 2 pm. Gustavus, which has now won five straight, is 7-3-1 overall.

Women’s Basketball Continues Winning Ways With 73-54 Victory At St. Kate’s

The Gustavus women's basketball team stayed unbeaten in MIAC play with a convincing 73-54 win over St. Catherine University in St. Paul on Saturday afternoon. The Gusties were led by Molly Geske with 20 points, while Molly Mathiowetz added 18 points. Gustavus, which had not played since Dec. 9, is now 7-1 overall and in first place in the MIAC with a record of 5-0.
