Men’s Track & Field Competes At MSU-Mankato Open

The Gustavus men’s track and field team competed in the two-day MSU-Mankato Open on Friday and Saturday in Meyer’s Field House on the campus of MSU-Mankato. Gustavus tallied three to five finishes as no teams scores were recorded at the meet.

The Gustavus men’s track and field team got some live-meet experience at the MSU-Mankato Open on Friday and Saturday in Meyer’s Field House in Mankato, Minn.  Gustavus tallied three top five finishes as no teams scores were recorded at the meet.

Cole Carlson, Mark Stice and Jake Peymann were the top Gustavus finishers.  Carlson placed third overall in the 400-meter dash, crossing the finish line in 50.69.  Stice and Peymann both finished in fifth place overall, Stice in the weight throw (46 ‘6.00″) and Peymann in the high jump (6’0.75″).

The Gustavus men’s track and field team will compete in the MSU-Mankato Ted Nelson Classic on Saturday, Feb. 6, in the Meyer’s Field House on the campus of MSU.
