The Gustavus men’s soccer team continued to struggle to score goals and battled Simpson College to a 0-0 draw in two overtimes on Sunday afternoon in Indianola, Iowa. Luke Strom made four saves in goal for the Gusties and registered his second consecutive shutout as Gustavus moved to 2-1-2 on the season.
Gustavus out-shot Simpson 20-10 in the game including 18-7 in regulation play.
The Gusties will open conference against defending league champion Carleton in Northfield on Wednesday at 4:00 pm.
