Martinson, an accounting major, is the son of Phil and Lynn Martinson of St. Louis Park and is a 2004 graduate of St. Louis Park High School.

The Gusties, who are 18-10-0, will face UW-Stout, which is 23-5-2, in the semifinals of the NCAA Division III Men’s Hockey Championship in Lake Placid, N.Y. on Friday, March 20 at 3 p.m. Central Time (4 p.m. EST).
