Senior Tyler Geyen, junior Kaelene Lundstrum, and junior Diana Scott have qualified for the NCAA Indoor Track and Field Championships which will take place this Friday and Saturday at Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology in Terre Haute, Indiana. Geyen qualified in the 55-meter hurdles with a time of 7.59 seconds, while Scott qualified in the weight throw with a distance of 53 feet, 6 1/4 inches. Lundstrum will participate in two events at the championships as she qualified in the pentathlon with 3,445 points and the high jump at a height of 5 feet, 5 3/4 inches.
The championships begin on Friday morning as Lundstrum begins competition in the pentathlon at 9:45 am (EDT), which is 8:45 (CDT), and will compete in the high jump that afternoon at 3:30 pm (EDT), which is 2:30 (CDT). Scott will compete in the weight throw on Friday at 5:00 pm (EDT), which is 4:00 (CDT). Geyen will compete in the 55-meter hurdle preliminaries on Friday at 4:50 pm (EDT), which is 3:50 (CDT), in order to advance to the finals on Saturday at 2:35 pm (EDT), which is 1:35 (CDT).
